THAT'S SCIENCE

“There is a field of work in which no line of work, creed, color, party or nationality is drawn – that’s science.

Science creates brotherhood among the people which is the world’s main hope for peace, unity and development. It leads to many ideas, principles and discoveries that are now of great help to all of us. How can understanding of those basic principles enhance our daily life? How does the application of these principles pave the way to development?

Gone were those days when our scientists were able to observed something, SOMETHING so important. A historical approach to the development of those discoveries was adopted to highlight the aspect of science. In some instances, evolution of concepts, principles and theories were able to add the knowledge we have.

The progressive lives we are having now are due to the discoveries long, long ago. Some of them led to useful things but some also led to harmful things. Because of advancement, communication was made possible, transportation was more comfortable and our works were made easier. But because also of advancement, our environment was already degraded. The ozone layer is becoming thinner and thinner.

Let us be aware to the reality that we haven’t used the science cultures discovered by scientists well that is why our life is not yet that well – developed.

A wake – up call for everybody. Adapt ourselves to diverse science cultures for development!!!
